Dear guest,

The corona virus has made a huge impact around the world. Like in other countries in Europe, France also has a great number of infections, sick people and unfortunately also deceased. Since a couple of weeks, the French schools are closed and has the everyday life come to a halt. Inhabitants of France can only go out to do some groceries, to go to work or for medical reasons. Health care operations are working at high speed, but the economy has almost come to a stop.

This all has its effects on our industry. While tourists stay away and most likely cannot travel in April and Mai, a lot of businesses in the restaurant and holiday industry face a big challenge to survive.

Because of all the measures that have been taken by governments from Holland, Belgium, Germany and France in order to control the corona virus we are unfortunately forced to an addition to our cancellation policy. Club Les Ormes is a financial healthy business but cannot continue when we have to refund all the deposits that have been made. In line with fellow travel companies and travel federations, we have decided to transfer the deposits into a voucher for the same amount, which can be used up until the end of the season 2021 (and only by your own family).

However, we would like to emphasize that in our cancellation policy we always state the importance of making a good travel insurance contract. In case of this pandemic your insurance company will most likely refund you.

Here in France we still assume that public life can slowly restart at the beginning of June and that we can welcome all our guests for this summer holiday. In the meantime, we continue to prepare the season 2020 to make sure you and your family will have a wonderful holiday at Club Les Ormes.

We wish you all the strength the upcoming weeks. We hope to welcome you safe and sound.
